Detailed Itinerary
DAY 0: HANOI / NOI BAI AIRPORT → HA GIANG (OVERNIGHT ON THE BUS)
15:00–21:00: Pick up guests in Hanoi or at Noi Bai Airport.
Board the VIP sleeper bus to Ha Giang. Overnight on the bus.
Arrive in Ha Giang City at 05:00 AM the following morning.
Day 1: Ha Giang City – Tha Village – Waterfall No.6 – Khuoi My – Lung Vai
- 08:00 AM – We are going to welcome you in Hà Giang City.
- 08:30 AM – We are going to enjoy breakfast at a local restaurant.
- 09:00 AM – We are going to start walking through Thôn Tha, a peaceful Tay village with traditional stilt houses surrounded by rice fields.
- 09:45 AM – We are going to continue a 30-minute walk through a small forest to reach Thác Số 6 Waterfall, where you can swim in the fresh, cool water.
- 10:30 AM – By motorbike, we are going to travel to Khuổi My – Lùng Vài, home to the Red Dao people.
- 12:00 PM – We are going to enjoy lunch with a local family, tasting authentic Red Dao dishes.
- 01:00 PM – We are going to relax with green tea while admiring rice terraces.
- 02:00 PM – We are going to explore daily life of the Red Dao, watching their work on terraced fields.
- 03:00 PM – You are going to experience tea picking from centuries-old tea trees on the mountain.
- 04:00 – 05:00 PM – We are going to return to Thôn Tha and check in to your homestay.
- 07:00 PM – Dinner is going to be served with local specialties. Overnight in Thôn Tha.
Day 2: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Lung Tam Weaving Village – Yen Minh – Lao Xa (90 km)
- 08:00 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
- 09:00 AM – We are going to depart for Quản Bạ, stopping at Bắc Sum Pass for mountain views.
- 10:00 AM – Visit the Heaven’s Gate of Quản Bạ.
- 11:00 AM – Explore the legendary Twin Mountains of Quản Bạ.
- 12:30 PM – Lunch in Quản Bạ town.
- 01:30 PM – Visit Lùng Tám Village, where H’Mông women keep the traditional art of linen weaving alive.
- 02:30 PM – Continue the journey, passing through Thẩm Mã Pass.
- 03:30 PM – Arrive in Lao Xa Village, a 100-year-old H’Mông village known for silver handicrafts.
- 05:00 PM – Check in to your bungalow in Lao Xa.
- 07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay in Lao Xa.
Day 3: Dong Van – H’mong King’s Palace – Lung Cu Flag Tower – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac (80 km)
- 07:00 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
- 08:00 AM – Visit the H’Mông King’s Palace, a historic architectural treasure in Sà Phìn Valley.
- 10:00 AM – Continue to Lũng Cú Flagpole, the northernmost point of Vietnam.
- 12:30 PM – Lunch in Đồng Văn town.
- 02:30 PM – We are going to explore the legendary Mã Pì Lèng Pass, Vietnam’s most stunning mountain pass.
- 04:00 PM – Trek along the Skywalk of Mã Pì Lèng, with panoramic views of the Nho Quế River.
- 05:30 PM – Arrive in Mèo Vạc, check in at your homestay or guesthouse.
- 07:00 PM – Dinner and overnight in Mèo Vạc.
Day 4: Meo Vac – Mau Due – Ban An – Du Gia (90 km)
- 08:00 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
- 11:00 AM – Departure for Mậu Duệ.
- 12:30 PM – Lunch in Mậu Duệ town.
- 01:30 PM – Continue to Bản Án Village, where you are going to ride wooden rafts on a small river, swim, and join locals in guiding the boats.
- 03:00 PM – Depart for Du Già, a Tay ethnic village.
- 03:30 PM – Arrive in Du Già and enjoy swimming in the waterfall.
- 05:00 PM – Check in to your homestay.
- 07:30 PM – Dinner and cultural exchange with the host family. Overnight in Du Già.
Day 5: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Ba Tien Mountain – Thai An – Ha Giang City (80 km)
- 08:00 AM – Breakfast at the homestay.
- 09:00 AM – Depart Du Già and head to Đường Thượng – Ba Tiên Mountain, a place of legends.
- 11:30 AM – We are going to have lunch in Thái An Valley.
- 01:30 PM – Continue the journey back to Hà Giang City.
- 03:30 PM – Arrive in Hà Giang, marking the end of our 5-day adventure.
